Free Trials for our Nanos classes!!
Monday 3rd of November at Earlsfield Library
Friday 7th of November at Club Crèche Southfields.
From this September 2014 onwards, students aged seven to 11 will be required to reach a high standard of written and spoken communication in a foreign language. Spanish is predicted to be one of the most commonly chosen amongst schools.
Preparing your children towards this new requirement will not only be a big help for them at school but they will also be on the right path towards real language proficiency.
Your decision as a parent to start your children at Nanos and your support at home can make the difference between being stuck in a beginners level forever or reaching advanced levels in time to make the most of this terrific skill in college and in the work place .
Nanos’ program was born on the believe that we should do our best for our children, taking full advantage of their innate ability to learn languages.
Classes are aimed for 1 to 3 year olds. They are active, interactive, and include a mixture of body and movement related exercises, games, songs and educational activities; all aimed to develop not only the linguistic competence of the children but also other key areas of their development.

An interesting article I have found on the BBC webpage:
The brain has a critical window for language development between the ages of two and four, brain scans suggest.
Environmental influences have their biggest impact before the age of four, as the brain’s wiring develops to process new words, say UK and US scientists.
The research in The Journal of Neuroscience suggests disorders causing language delay should be tackled early. Continue reading →
Language centres in the brain actually grow as a result of successful language learning. The better you learn, the more those vital areas of the brain grow (Mårtensson et al., 2012).
Bilingualism delays Alzheimer’s disease in susceptible people by as much as five years (Craik et al., 2010). Seems incredible, Continue reading →
